Dendritech manufactures and sells ethylenediamine-core poly(amidoamine) (PAMAM) dendrimers in a series of generations with several surface functional groups in diagnostic or technical grades.

Technical grade dendrimers are designed for larger-scale applications and contain higher levels of coproducts, e.g. dimers and lower generations.

Since PAMAM dendrimers are highly viscous oils and are difficult to handle as neat polymers, they are supplied in either methanol or water solutions. We currently sell PAMAM dendrimers with the following surface functional groups:

(a) Primary amine - G0 through G10
(b) Hydroxy - G2 through G7
(c) Carboxylate sodium salt - G0.5 through G7.5 (denoted as half-generations)
(d) C12 hydrophobe G2 through G4-NH2
(e) Technical Grade - G0 through G2 (higher generations available; please inquire)
(f) Mixed amine/hydroxy surface - G2 through G6 (available as special order only)
(g) Succinamic Acid - G(2) through G(6)

Technical Grade Dendrimers

Dendritech commercially supplies technical grades of G0 through G2 PAMAM dendrimers. These products combine both the high performance of PAMAM dendrimers with greatly improved economics and are targeted at non-biomedical (industrial) applications. Technical grade products are also commercially supplied with custom surfaces to meet specific customer performance needs. The ability to produce large scaleup quantities of dendrimers from on-site manufacturing is a unique Dendritech strength and we welcome inquiries on pricing and products.

Pricing & Ordering

PAMAM dendrimers are available directly from Dendritech, Inc. with some minimum order quantities required. Smaller research quantities of the following products are available (in methanol solvent only) from Sigma-Aldrich. Aqueous solutions must be ordered directly from Dendritech. All of our PAMAM Dendrimer products have a shelf life of two years from date of manufacture if stored at 5 degrees C or below.

Please state the quantity, generation, surface functional group, and solvent (methanol or water). A 10% surcharge will be added for water solutions. For orders shipped within the United States and Canada, a $95 shipping and handling charge will be added per order. For shipments outside of the United States and Canada, a $195 shipping and handling charge plus VAT and Customs Fees will be added. We accept payment by check, credit card, PayPal or bank wire transfer.
